DASA Coordinator Forum:

Workshop Description/Objectives: The intent of forums is to share information -both from NYSED as well from the districts - as well as to increase regional collaboration.  The forums are driven by the needs of the participants, with E2CCB team members serving as facilitators of the groups. 

Districts may send between one to three representatives to forums, depending upon district student population. Forums will meet virtually two times over the course of the school year from 8:30am - 11:30am and it is expected that participants will be able to stay for the entire session in order to get the most out of the collaborative time together.  A listserv will be developed for communication with group members as well as a shared Google Folder for resources and materials which can be used to continue the conversations and sharing between meetings.

To promote the collegial nature of the forums, we are asking that districts send the same participant’s to each meeting. Sharing work and asking questions that benefit collaboration takes trust – which can only be done with repeated attendance at sessions.

Cost: No Charge for Districts in Coser 516.030 or 516.031.

$80/participant charge for both sessions for districts not in CoSer 516.030 or 516.031.

Please note : There is no additional cost for participants from ICE 8 districts
